The COGEN project was identified from the findings of an analysis of the original umbrella project RE-POWERING.
COGEN, derived from 'cogeneration', refers to the extension of electricity cogeneration based on gas engines within the entire MVV Energie CZ Group.
The Group is hereby striving to diversify its product portfolio and improve its market position. To date it is producing electricity in 4 towns and the COGEN project will expand production capacity to cover a further four towns.
